What is the “Fiber Gap?”

Imagine you are in a room with 100 men, a cross-section of American men.  Look around you.  Guess how many of these 100 men you think get enough fiber for health in their daily diet.  Did you guess 50…25…10?  No, no and no.

Sadly, only 3 out of 100 men get adequate fiber in their diet.  That means 97 of every 100 men could benefit from eating more fiber and taking a fiber supplement like Vets Vites Fiber Gummy!

In a similar room with 100 American women, only 9 of the 100 women get adequate fiber in their diet.  Not quite as bad, but that still means that 91 of every 100 women could benefit from eating more fiber and taking a fiber supplement like Vets Vites Fiber Gummy.

This is not a minor concern.  To quote the government’s Dietary Guidelines for American 2015-2020 (8th edition): “Of the under-consumed nutrients, calcium, potassium, dietary fiber, and vitamin D are considered nutrients of public health concern because low intakes are associated with health concerns.”

Adequate fiber helps support digestive health, regularity, proper weight maintenance, heart health, blood sugar control and much more.  These are some very important benefits!
